Song Planning Exercise

Shoot em' up

Bit rate: is 320kbps as mp3 and 2116kbps as wav

It is stereo sound

Stored as wav file type as the quality is better

Name of song is called 'one bullet'

Files will be named such as song1.wav for example

Will be created in Audacity or Reaper

Uncompressed wav

Genre: rock/rap

RAM: This is not an issue although the file will be saved as a WAV so it will use up more hard drive space.

How I Made It
After recording some samples of music I put them on a computer and then imported them to Reaper which is a sound editing program. I chose this as it is simple to use and easy to understand.
I then chopped and screwed the audio files together, looped some and changed some around with a bit of echo which really helped the audio quality.
After, I added a background beat to help the rest of the song stay together and sound better. It does overpower the other pieces of audio but not too much.
Lastly I rendered out the audio into a sample rate of 44100 in Stereo output with the format being Wav. The quality is quite good and it has a lot of things you can change if you want. I just kept the name as 'song1' as I know what folder it is in so it will be easy to find.
The song lasts one minute and fifteen seconds, is 19mb in file size and has a bit rate of 2116kbps. It came out rather good, the only bad side is that some of the sounds you can hear people in the background, only on certain parts though as people in the background is used throughout most of the song in an ambient effect.
