The motivations for Frank were to get out of the way of the train as soon as he found out about it, he also later on wanted to stop the train as it could of killed lots of people.

The motivations for Will were to do a good job with the train and to be able to be with his wife again. He played a big role in stopping the train which he risked his life to do.

The intro is from the beginning up until the point of when they lose control of the train as it speeds up and starts getting reported on the news.

The middle is all the attempts they try to stop the train and the problems they came across when going along with it. The main characters go after the train and try to stop it themselves.

The end is where they finally manage to stop the train and everyone is happy and everything is well again. This comes about when the two main characters chase after the train and stop it from tipping over and blowing everything up, they then manage to climb on board and stop it after their breaks wouldn't do it.
