•Schmichael starts procrastinating, a lot, and realizes he doesn’t need any friends or help in his life so he starts an objective in life which is to start from the bottom and get to the top….

•Schmichael starts working for people who can help him start out his mission, the type of people he starts working for are criminals who needs Schmichael to do their dirty work, in return for a small amount of cash.

Part 2: Story Writing

The Story of Filthy

Plot

Once upon a time in Manchester, England, there lived a man known as Schmichael who lived on the streets for many years as he didn’t have any good qualifications so he couldn’t get a job. However he met a woman one day and she changed his life, he ended up marrying her and having a child, along with a stable income. He lived with his wife and child named Michen in a nice house. He had a good job and enjoyed life. But after a while he began to be abused by his wife, Lynda. There was only so much he could take and after only a few months of the torment he decided to leave home and everything else behind to go on the streets and live his life how he wants, with no restrictions and no responsibilities.

 He joined a group of homeless people named the Cobalt Moth Crew, was then nicknamed Filthy and together they helped each other survive and thrive even if they had no way to get actual money. Although after a while a lot of gangs and mobs had started moving in to the city, hiring on anyone who will take work no matter how bad it is, most of the jobs were getting rid of bodies or delivering packages to undisclosed locations. Schmichael started taking these jobs and was very good at them, he was making more money homeless than he was before when he had a home. Sooner than later the CMC ended up finding out that he had been doing all this work so they boycotted him from the group and started going after him if they saw him.

Main Story

Schmichael was born on the 19^th of August 1987, he had a loving family who cared for him while he grew up and went to school, and he had a good school life as he was very popular and never bullied much at all. As he grew older he started to question his purpose in life because he wasn’t particularly good at anything at all, he had these thoughts all throughout his high school days and he ended up getting mediocre grades at the end of the years. He did end up going to college with what money his parents had left however he dropped out a year in because he didn’t want to do the work at all. His parents were very angry at him because he didn’t finish college and then proceeded to kick him out of their home at just 18 years old where he went to the streets and had to fend for himself with nothing but a blanket and some change.

 Throughout this time he had to do some depraved things just to get a little bit of money. He lived in a bin with a nice cardboard flooring and a homemade toilet for a while as he scavenged the streets for scraps of food or dead rats, anything that would keep him from starving. He lived like this for years just barely getting by, but after a certain event his life changed for the better. He was sitting in his bin one day when someone opened the lid and threw a trash bag in there, he then said “oi, someone’s in here” and he then saw the face of a woman who then said “sorry about that, how ya doin?” she said her name was Lynda and from there on they became friends. She let him stay in her house and he would do chores to pay for the living expenses. They fell in love and ended up getting married, not far along the line they have a child which they named Michen.

Schmichael somehow ended up getting a job because of Lynda’s connections and while they were not at work Lynda had to take care of the child which brought on a lot of stress and she started doing hard drugs which caused her to abuse Schmichael. She would call him horrible names and beat him with wooden spoons. Schmichael could only take it for so long and after a while of this Schmichael decided to leave Lynda and take Michen with him, he took him to an orphanage where Schmichael had another son from the past who he then ordered to take care of Michen for a while. Schmichael then took to the streets once again and left his job and home. He eventually bumped into a man who was also homeless, he told Schmichael about the one homeless gang in the city, named the Cobalt Moth Crew and Schmichael showed interest in the crew as he could use them to get somewhere in life, soon enough he ended up meeting the leader of the crew named Adric who allowed him to join the crew as long as he did them some favours. Little did Schmichael know that these favours were not ones any normal person could do, he had to attack certain homeless people around the city and demand that they pay up the money that they owe to the crew for leaving it. Schmichael ended up secretly taking money from other people instead and saying he did the job. Adric was convinced and Schmichael was let into the crew. Adric gave Schmichael a nickname for anonymity, this name was Filthy. For a while he did all sorts of things to help them out however he wasn’t getting very far money wise.

 He had heard from one of the crew’s members Dwayne that some big gangs are moving in to the city and are going to give work to anyone who asks for it. Schmichael then took this information and used it to get his chance to change and have a better life. He took these jobs, a lot of them and for a while no-one noticed at all as he kept it very secretive. He earned a lot more money from this and he could have easily afforded to get out of there, however, he wanted to get the CMC back for ordering him to attack innocent people. However on one unfortunate day, Adric was just wondering around the gang’s hideout and noticed something very strange, a hole in the wall which was partially covered by a blanket. Adric looked into the hole and saw at least ten stacks of cash and was very angry at Schmichael for keeping that amount of money from him. When Schmichael returned from doing another job for one of the un-named gangs, he was jumped by members of the CMC and tied to a chair, from there Adric questioned him on where he got the money, and after 5 hours of torture, Schmichael finally gave it up that he had been secretly working for other gangs and getting big pay. He was then promptly kicked out of the CMC, his money taken from him and his life even worse than it was before.

 They let him go for now but if they ever saw him again they would kill him. From there on Schmichael did jobs for the other gangs from the side-lines and slowly one by one killed off the CMC when they were most vulnerable. He then took on Adric in a fistfight and won, taking own the crew once and for all. From there on, Schmichael joined the biggest gang in the area, The Yakuza. There he met Boyce, one of the top members of the gang who he became friends with. With Boyce’s help, Schmichael worked his way up through the ranks over the years and became one of the biggest crime lords of the past century. He was finally taken down 30 years later at just 48 years old he was assassinated by the FBI and every known Yakuza member in the city was arrested and imprisoned for life.

Part 3: Game Concept Design

I have created a small early concept game in gamemaker

In this game you can talk to people to get objectives and can fight people to get to objectives or pick up items.

The genre of the game action/adventure.

My story had the main character of Schmichael and so does the game as he makes his way from the bottom to the top. Some of the other characters of the game are the Cobalt Moth Crew which you will have to fight a lot of the time. I can also make the boss of the game be Adric as he is the leader of the CMC.

I have made a storyboard showing the brief rundown of how the story goes.

The differences I have made between the game and the story is that not the entire story is playable and it will be a bit shorter with some more detail.

 This is because it's not easy to implement things like cut scenes or extra dialogue to tell the full story however some more of the details like how the main character got to where he is are included which make the game more interesting rather than just an adventure or story type of game.
